Abstract

Because the amount of land available is not proportional to the need, the need for land will increase. As a result, there will be an increase in the sale of land as a way to acquire land rights. In the case of a land sale agreement, the principled mechanism of openness based on legal provisions gives the parties the freedom to determine the terms of the land purchase agreement. This does not mean that the parties may freely enter into a sale agreements that are contrary to the law or law; however, this freedom must be based on the terms and conditions of a valid agreement. The government must inform the public of the sale of land permitted by law, that is, before the PPAT, who is authorized to make the sale act. In addition, the government must inform the public to undertake a process of revocation of the certificate's name to ensure that they have the right to the land.
